AIRPORT CLUB NINE-HOLE STROKE MATCH. Owing to the continuous bad weather the stroke handicap at the airport has extended over several week-ends, and the committee decided to include all the cards handed in. M. Broadhead played sound golf to do a gross 37 and deserved his win in the seniors. In the juniors Miss Jane Winstone (Wanganui’s leading aviatrix) with a net score of 22 shows that she will also be a good golfer. Miss Ngaire Rowe with a 23 is also another promising player.
