WOOL PRICES IN LONDON. Received July 13, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, July 12. Offerings at the London wool sales to-day were 12,032 bales, including 6933 bales New Zealand. About 8213 bales were sold. The firm tone of the market is fully maintained, and prices as a rule have moved in sellers’ favour. The offerings are readily cleared and there are a few occasional withdrawals owing to high limits placed on the wool. Realisations of New Zealand wool: Scoured Merino, “Rhodoro Downs,” 24|d highest, 224 d average; greasy crossbred, “Kingsdrive, ” 13d. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having received cable advice from their London house regarding the London wool sales reading as follows: “Wool sales continued before an average attendance of buyers. The market remains active and prices are. well maintained. Continental and Bradford buyers are the chief operators, while American buyers are operating sparingly. A good selection of wools are offering, for which wc quote the following realisations:— d.
