Many Aucklanders are looking forward to the return of the Countess of Orford, who with her daughter, Lady Anne Walpole, left England recently for New Zealand. Lady Orford lived three years in Auckland and during that time she took part in many activities, particularly in social and philanthropic work. She was always keenly interested in everything that stimulated a greater interest in music and art. Sport, too, attracted her attention and the Pakuranga Hunt Club will bo very glad to welcome her back, as she was always keenly interested in its activities. Lady Orford left the Dominion nearly two years ago.
