WANGANUI CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST. CONSOLATION HANDICAP ROUND. The first round of the Wanganui Golf Club’s championships and the Consolation Handicap will be played at Belmont to-day. Those who have not already booked their times should do so immediately as there will be a big field for to-day’s matches. A bogey match will be played in conjunction with the matches, but those playing matches must play stymies. Return Match with Marton. A return match with the Marton Club, at the Marton links, will be played next week. Those who can make the trip arc asked to put their names down on the list at the Club House.
