THREE MONTHS’ GAOL. [ Per Press Association. I WELLINGTON, May 26. A case was heard yesterday in which Roy William Spencer, aged 34, was charged with permitting premises in the city to be used for an undesirable purpose, and also with being an idle and disorderly person. Tho Court was cleared, but application for the suppression of witnesses’ names was rejected. After evidence had been given the magistrate said that ho would give written judgment to-day. He delivered this to-day, finding accused guilty on both charges. The evidence showed that, accused had led two young girls to consort with Chinamen. The magistrate sentenced accused to three months’ gaol on each charge, to be concurrent.
