THE CULT OF THE ROYAL IRISH.
Of all the old-time favourites revived by the great interest shown in recent years in old time dancing by far the most popular has been that grand old dance. The Royal Irish. For long have we searched for a guide or book which would lay clear to us the entrancing mysteries of the Royal Irish but for too long has our search been in vain. Now in the second edition of Mullens’ “Guide to Old-Time Dances” we find the Royal Irish in all the glory of its correct place amongst the old-time set dances. Tho publishers write us that the Royal Irish did not appear in the first edition (which appeared last year) but that, owing to the insistent demand, they have included it in this new edition. Alullons’ “Old Time Dance Guide” contains full AI.C. ’s figures of some 13 of the old time set and round dances. It is published by Robertson and Alullens, of 107-113 Elizabeth Street, Alelbourne, and sells at the modest sum of 6d per copy\
