PLAY IN FRANCE MIXED DOUBLES GAMES. McGRATH AMONG LOSERS. PARIS, May 24. In the French tennis championship mixed doubles, first round, Bousbus and Mlle. Barbier (France) defeated Shields (U.S.A.) and Fraulein Aussem (Germany), 3-6, 11-9, 7-5; McGrath (Australia), and Mlle. Adamoff (France) defeated Satoh (Japan) and Mlle. Gallctt (France), 6-4, 6-3. In the second round F. W’ildo and Miss Hceley (Britain) defeated McGrath and Mlle. Adamoff, 6-4, 6-1. In the third round Bernard (France) and Mlle. Sigart (Belgium) defeated Turnbull (England) and Miss Helen Jacobs (U.S.A.), 6-3, 9-11, 6-4.
