DUCHESS THEATRE

“HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS’’ “His Royal Highness,” now showing at the Duchess Theatre, is a typical George Wallace comedy with the comedian figuring first as a stage hand in a theatre and later as the king of a mythical kingdom in Europe. In his latter capacity he finds plenty of opportunity for living burlesque comedy and his game of poker with members of the royal household is a joy to sec. Many well-known actors appear in the cast including Marshall Crossy, whose fine voice is heard in several melodies. Lou Vernon is also seen and pretty Donalda Warner, who sings some lilting numbers.
