MAJESTIC THEATRE
“PACK UP YOUB TROUBLES” “Pack Up Your Troubles.’latest Laurel and Hardy comedy, will open a season at th e Majestic Theatre to-day. The comi'cal pair have roles similar to those they played in “Beau Hunks.” Whereas in the latter film they appeared as gauche legionnaires, in their current production they are even clumsier as raw recruits in the United States army. Their simplicity makes them the butt of every joking soldier. When an army chef orders them to deliver the garbage at the general’s office, the pair comply willingly* The result is devastating. An hilarious telimax is reached when Laurel and Hardy unwittingly capture a platoon of Germans. On their return to civil life, the two comedians experience further adventures when they adopt a baby. “Pack Up Your Troubles” is to the talking screen what Charlie, Chaplin’s “Shoulder Arms” was to the silent screen. It could receive no better recommendation.
