“INSIDE” INFOBMATION Mr. Norman Birkett, K.C., was on® of the guests at a press club gathering in London recently. He told the following story: “A learned friend of mine tho other day got into a train. Presently another man got in who had obviously looked upon the whisky when it was yellow. Turning to my learned friend, the man said, ‘Yer think yer know everything, don’t yer?’ My friend thought tho best answer was complete silence. Thon tho man said, *l’ll tell yer something yer don’t know. Yer don’t know my wife is your washerwoman. ’ “This information was also received by my learned friend in stony silence. Then the man played what he evidently regarded as his trump card by saying, ‘l’ll tell yer another thing yer don’t know. I’ve got. one of your shirts
