LONDON JUBILEE DINNER Received May 12. 9.56 p.m. LONDON, May 12. There was a large gathering at the Waitaki .School’s jubilee dinner under the auspices of the Royal Empire So cioty. The speakers included Admiral Sir Lionel Halsey, Mr. L. S. Amery. Sir Edward Grigg and Sir Thoma.* Wilford. The Master of Sempill rea<’ messages of congratulations. Good wishes were tendered from the Prince of Wales, recalling his visit to the school in 1920. and from the Duke of York, mentioning his visit in 1927.
