QUESTIONS IN CHURCH

At St. James’ Church, Wanganui East, the evening service has been used during recent. Sundays to discuss, “Questions people are asking.’’ A question box is provided in the vestibule of the church, into which anyone may drop a written question •nd sue! question will form the subject for dia cession ou the following Sunday evening. Some of the questions already answered by the minister, Rev. G. 8. King, are these:— “Can a man be a Christian and not attend church?” , “Can a person bo a Christian and not love his neighbour as himself?” “What contribution does the church offer to the uplifting of the social and economic life of the community? For Sunday evening tho question is:—“The Jews and their place of privilege with God.” “How did they gain it?” “Why did they lose it?” “Will they ever regain it?”
