DAMAGES AWARDED
HURT WHILE IN TAXI. | Per Press Association. I WELLINGTON, May 11. General damages amounting to £3OO were awarded to Wyvern Jack Russell, salesman, against Walter Archibald Bell, hotelkeeper, also carrying on business as a taxi proprietor under the name of tho Gold Band Cabs. Russell was riding in a taxi when a collision occurred at the junction of streets, receiving severe injuries, including concussion. Liability was admitted and £l'29 special damages were, decided on. The .jury was asked to devidc the general damages.
