CANADIAN SPRING SOWING. UNITED STATES WINTER CROP OTTAWA, May 10. The area to be sown in spring wheat in Canada this year will be 1,475,100 the estimate of the Dominion Bureau acres less than last year, according to of Statistics. WASHINGTON, May 10. This year’s winter wheat crop in the United States is estimated by the Department of Agriculture at 337,485,000 bushels. Last year’s crop was 462.151,000 bushels.
