RIOTING IN CANADA
POLICE OFFICER’S DEATH. OTTAWA, May f. The Saskatoon Ago states that 25 unemployed were charged with rioting
following the death of the Rjyal Canadian Mounted Police Inspector L. J. Sampson, who was hit by a rock and dragged by his bolting horse, when 56 men refused to leave camp for work in Regina. There was a pitched battle when the ejected men stormed the dining hall.
