HUNTING OF FOXES

PROTESTS IN ENGLAND. There was a mild demonstration against fox hunting at a meeting or the Braham Moor Hunt, at which the Princess Royal and Lord Harewood attended, at Weeton, near Harrogate, Yorkshire, lately. The protests were made by members of the Leeds group for the prohibition of cruel sports. A bright yellow and blue banner bore the words “Sport or cruelty?” A poster which one man had pinned across his chest asked: “Would you enjoy hunting if you were th c fox?” Leaflets were offered to the Princess Royal, and the Earl of Harewood, and Major the Hon. Edward Lascelles and Mrs Lascelles, but they declined them with thanks.
