TRADE TREATY EXTENSION BILL BEFORE THE HOUSE OTTAWA, May 8. The first reading was given by the House to-day to a Bill authorising the Governor-in-Council to extend by proclamation the duration of the Canadian New Zealand trade agreement. There was no discussion.
