Miss J. MacLaren, Bcnall Street, Masterton, is visiting Wanganui. * * * * Mrs. Towersey is a Wellington visitor to Wanganui. Miss Margaret Campbell, a member of the nursing staff of the Wellington Public Hospital, is spending her annual holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Campbell. Mr. and Mrs. J. Cameron, of Wellington, are visiting Wanganui and are guests at Spriggens’ Hotel . * The Misses Barker (4), arc Gisborne visitors to Wanganui. * *« * * Mrs. Hansel is visiting Wellington and is staying at the Empire Hotel. * * * • Miss Gibbs is a guest at the Empire Hotel, Wellington.* Miss Grant, of St. John’s Hill, left at the week-end for Marton and Palmerston North, where she will bo the guest of her parents. Later she will visit New Plymouth. * » • * Miss V. Craig is visiting her brother, Mr. Bob Craig, Wanganui River, for the term holidays. # » • * Miss R. Wansborougli, who has been visiting Marton as the guest of Miss Bishop, returned home last w?ek. Miss T. Hannah has returned to Auckland from a week’s holiday spent with her sister, Mrs. Leo Campion, ‘ ‘ Okirae. ’ ’ Mrs. H. G. Skeet and Miss Barbara Skeet, who have been the guests of Mrs. H. Cowling, New Plymouth, have returned home. Mrs. Tabor-Gregory, a new arrival in Wanganui, and formerly of. Hamilton, will adjudicate at the Gisborne Festival in August. Mrs. TaborGregory is busy with the local Savage Club in Wanganui. She has a male ballet of 17 and is also tutoring the “Savage Pierrote,” as well as teaching sketches. Tho club now has a membership of 267, and its.own clubroom, badminton, ping-pong, and indoor bowls, and a ladles’ circle. The fortnighly cabarets are already a popular feature of the club.
