MAJESTIC THEATRE
"NIGHT AFTER NIGHT." “Night After Night,’’ which showed for the first time at th© Majestic Theatre yesterday, proved itself to be an amusing and entertaining picture. It features George Raft, sensational young player of “Dancers in the Dark” and “The Sporting Widow” fame. Constance Cummfngs, Wynne Gibson, Mae West and Alison Skipworth are also prominent in the cast. The locale of the story is an old brownstone house which has been converted into a luxurious night club. The story tells of the queer romance between Raft, the proprietor of the night club, who nourishes social ambitions, and Miss Cummings, who plays the part of a member of Park Avenue society, who was born in the house (luring its better days. Her constant visits to the scene of her birth bring her into contact with the proprietor, and a series of startling developments throw them together in a strange fashion. An excellent supporting programme accompanies the main picture, and arrangements have been made to screen lection results as soon as they eome to hand.
