EARLY MORNING BLAZE

WASH HOUSE IN FLAMES. At 12.40 o’clock this morning tho Wanganui Central Fire Brigade received a call to Culver’s Corner, Glasgow Street, where they found a washhouse at No. 3 Lowther Street in flames. Wearing apparel in the washhouse. together with, a bicycle, was destroyed by the flames, which also gutted the out house. With the high wind blowing at tho time a good sa\ e was effected in connection with the dwelling, which is occupied by Mr. W. J. Winton and is owned by Mrs. A. Clark, of Hawera.
