ABOLITION OF THE OATH BRITAIN’S INTERPRETATION. LONDON, April 25. The Sun learns that a statement it being prepared outlining Britain’s position from May 3, when the oath disappears. It is a highly complicated constitutional position in which the Free Stato retains its membership of the Empire, enjoying tho privileges apart from Otawa, and Irishmen remaining British subjects under the Anglo-Irish Treaty, Balfour Declaration and Statute of Westminster. Secession is only possible by the declaration of a republic, dependent on Ulster's willingness t< unite, and the Free State bccomin self-supporting, of which there ia litV prospect.
