SOCIALISM DISLIKED. THE GOVERNMENT WARNED. LONDON, April 25. The Madrid correspondent of The Times says the municipal elections have given the Government a stern warning that the country dislikes its Socialist connections. The three Ministerial parties won a total of only 3841 seats, while the. others secured nearly 13,000. Only 28 Monarchist and 28 Communists were elected. There were seven fatalities in election disorders. The National Confederation of Labour order a. two-day strike all over the country which has began. At Barcelona and Almeria trams and buses were stopped by strikers, who strewed the roads with tacks. Police arc patrolling the streets. The opposition is demanding that the Government shall resign.
