WANGANUI BRANCH’S WORK. ANNUAL MEETING HELD. The annual meeting of the Wanganui branch of the St. John Ambulance Association took place last evening. Mr. F. Symes presiding over a good attendance. He congratulated the brigade on rhe work done during the past year and advocated greater publicity for service rendered in the course of public duty. A vote of thanks was passed to members of the medical profession, the Press, donors of trophies, subscribers, the Wanganui Jockey Club for tb use of its grounds for competitions, ami those who had helped the association in anv way. Mr. R. AL Finlayson, the honorary auditor, was thanked for the work he had done and i- was decided to write expressing the feelings of the association.
