The track was soft after week-end rain. There was a good attendance of rhe public and the totalizator handled £19,098 10.-. compared with £18,562 10s last year. Plans have been changed with regard to Peter Jackson’s lease, which has been extended eight months, and the horse is not now returning to New Zealand.
