SOUTHLAND CHEESE
CO-OPERATIVE MARKETING. I Per Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, April 7. Co-operative marketing of Southland or South Island cheese, was the subject of discussion at a largely-attended meeting of Southland dairy factory representatives here to-day. The proceedings were taken in committee. It was reported later that d had been decided to set up a committee of 15 members to consider the whole problem of marketing Southland cheese. It is understood that there were several references to a suggestion that a Southland brand be adopted and in any case the function, of the committee is confined solely to the marketing of Southland cheese. The committee is to call a meeting at which its finding will be submitted.
