HEADQUARTERS BURNED RECENT SAVAGE ATTACKS (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrights Received Alarch 30 11.30 p.m. DUBLIN, Alarch 29. While a tremendous fire in seven buildings in Bachelors’ Walk in the centre of Dublin was engaging the full strength of the fire brigades and civic guards, it was discovered that Connolly House, the headquarters of the revolutionary group.- had been set ablaze. The house was the target of many missiles during the Communist parades on Sunday and Afonday. The crowd besieging Connolly House fought its way to the staircase, attacking the occupants, who retreated to the upper storeys. The police dislodged the attackers and made several baton charges after which they brought a covered wagon for the Communists, but- finding it impossible to deal with them took 20 injured instead. The crowd stoned the wagon thinking it contained Communists, who later escaped. During the attack furniture was smashed and papers and books burned. Savage fights occurred between the Communists and their opponents.
