ACCIDENT ON SPEEDWAY RIDER SUFFERS CONCUSSION I Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND. Nov. 27. The world's champion broadsider, Eric Langton, aged 25, of England, received slight concussion when the front tyre of his machine, burst during an exhibition ride at the opening of the Western Springs speedway last evening. Langton was admitted to the Auckland Hospital and his condition today is not serious. The crash occurred prior to the corn rr.encement of the racing, when four Englishmen, Langton, ‘‘ Tiger” Stev enson, Eric Gregory and W. Phillips were engaged in an exhibition ride. Langton and his machine turned over several times, the, rider being injured when his mount struck him. j
