DEMAND IN BELGIUM PROTEST AGAINST TAX BRUSSELS, Nov. 25. As a protest against the * ‘ everlasting increase” in the tax on beer in Belgium the breweries closed yesterday and the employees are participating in a procession in which forty thousand marched the streets accompanied by 70 bands. Their banners were blazoned with demands for cheaper beer. Special trains and motor coaches brought the country participants.
