GARDEN FETE AT WESTMERE No one should miss the garden party and sale of work to be held in the grounds of Mrs Birch’s home, Station Road, Westmere, which is being held this afternoon by the ladies of St. Oswald’s Church. A most entertaining programme of dances ban been arranged by Mrs Lambert, and the stalls will be well stocked with produce (country meat being a speciality) and fancy work. Strawberries and ice cream will be available, and there will bo ail kinds of garden sports and games. In the event of the weather being unfavourable (he fete will be held in fhe Westmere Ha 11.
