CLOTHES ON BEACH j POLICE MAKING SEARCH . ; . I Per Press Association.] TAURANGA, Nov. 1. The police have been searching all the afternoon for the body of the Rev. E. G. Ault, whose clothes were found on the beach at Welcome Bay, an inlet of the Tauranga Harbour, this morning. Rev. Ault was missed from his home at Turua on Saturday and his car was discovered on the TaurangaTepuke Road, last night about five ■ miles from Tauranga. As the tide was full when the clothes were found and the bay is an extensive area, the police did not begin the search till low tide, when most of the area was bare. Up till a late hour this afternoon no trace was found of the body. Rev. Ault is about 50 years of age and has suffered from failing health during the past three months. He recently had a nervous breakdown.
