PREPARATORY COMMISSION. THE TASK COMMENCED. [ British Official Wireless.] Received Nov. 1, 6.10 p.m. RUGBY, Oct. 31. When the Preparatory Commission for the World Economic Conference met at Geneva, Doctor Leonardos Trip, president of the Netherlands Bank and one of the experts of the Bank of International Settlements, was appointed president, and a start was made with the compilation of a list of questions to be submitted for consideration by the conference. The Government concerned will be consulted regarding the subjects pro posed for discussion before the commission reassembles in December.
