CLOSING RATES MAINTAINED Received Oct. 3.1. 10.33 p.m. SYIDNEY, Oct. 31. At the wool sales 1.1,414 bales were offered and 10,659 were sold, also 524 which were disposed of privately. The market was unchanged from the closing rates of the last Sydney series for all descriptions excepting line Merinos carrying fault, which were irregular and tended in buyers’ favour. Greasy Merino fleece sold to 164 ponce.
