KAIERAU AND KIA TOA LICENSED VICTUALLERS’ CUP M A ROONS DEFLATED Kaierau (Wanganui) travelled to Palmerston North on Saturday to play Kia Toa, the championship team of Manawatu, for the Licensed Victuallers’ Cup. Kia Toa played Kaierau at their own game and successfully defended their title. Tho iinal score was 22 points to 13. It was an interesting game in which the Kaierau forwards, led by Tasker and Byres, were beaten for most of the time.
