NEW DESERT SERVICE. [ British Official Wire’ess. ] Received Aug. 12, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 11. Imperial Airways are opening on September 5 a new desert air service, which will save travellers the discomfort of two days’ journey by desert car be tween Palestine and Iraq. The service will make the journey fram Bagdad to Galilee in five hours and the cast bound flight from Ramlch to Bagdad in eight hours. The service will make connection with steamships and be operated by Avro “ten’’’ air liners.
