IRAQ AND LEAGUE
REQUEST FOR ADMISSION [ British Official Wireless.] RUGBY, July 29. A formal request that Iraq should be admitted to the League of Nations has been made by M. Nuri, the Iraq Prime Minister, through the British Foreign Office, and Sir John Simon has asked the Secretary General to place his request on the agenda of the September Assembly meetings.
