U.W.M.
Sir,—In reply to “Worker” may we say that his letter discloses exactly the position we anticipated, namely, that the U.W.M. in Wanganui has been so •camouflaged that the unemployed did not realise that it was a Communist inspired organisation. Our statements as to the aims and objects behind this movement are taken from the Communists’ authorities and leaders. They are not open to question unless those leaders are not telling the truth, therefore we warn the unemployed in Wanganui, who arc in the U.W.M., to see to it that it never falls into the control of the N.Z. Communist party, which has for its official name “Tho N.Z. Section of the 3rd International. ”—Wc are, Yours etc., N.Z. WELFARE LEAGUE. July 30, J 932. Wellington.
