DELEGATES NOMINATED ELECTORAL COMMITTEE TO MEET The returning officer announces that he has received the following nominations as delegates to represent the various districts on the electoral committee:— Auckland District.—F. R. Seddon, Hamilton; IL E. Worsp, Whangarei. (Two delegates required—Messrs Beddon and Worsp declared elected). Gisborne District.—J. C. Graham. Gisborne; W. G. Bherratt, Gisborne. (Two delegates required—Messrs Graham and Sherratt declared elected). Hawke’s Bay District.—E. Averill. Hastings; R. S. Chadwick, IDannevirke: J. H. Joll, Havelock North; A. V. 8. Reed, Napier. (Four delegates required —Messrs Averill, Chadwick, Joll and Reed declared elected). West Coast District.—T. Currie, Brunswick; J. Knight, Fcilding; L. B. Wall. Kairanga. (Three delegates required—Messrs. Currie. Knight and Wall declared elected). Wairarapa District.—W. F. Mr Laron, Masterton; M. McLeod, Martinborough. (Two delegates req’urc(l—Messrs McLaren and McLeod declared elected). Marlborough-Nelson-Westland District.—H. J. Stace, Blenheim. (One delegate required—Mr. Stace declared elected). North and Mid-Canterbury District.— W. R. Hammond, Winchmore; E. Hay, Pigeon Bay; L. 11. C. Macfarlane, Culverdon. (Three delegates required— Messrs Hammond, Hay and Macfarlane declared elected). South Canterbury District.—G. A. M. Macdonald, Ornri; J. Trotter, Fairlie. (Two delegates required—Messrs Macdonald and Trotter declared elected).
Otago District.—L. Kelcher. Maheno; J. D. Revie, Crookston; D. J. Ross, Hillgrove; E. T. Shand, Kokonga; I). Williams, Oamaru. (Three delegates required). Southland District.—A. S. Holms, Waimahaka; W. ID. McLeod, Mandeville* E. K. Sim, Pukemaori; H. Smith, Waikaka Valley. (Three delegates required). In the case of the Otago and Southland districts, the number of nominations exceeds the number of delegates required. A postal ballot is therefore being conducted, and the necessary ballot paper is being despatched to each sheepfarmer owning not less than onehundred sheep in the districts concerned. The Electoral Committee elected from the above will meet in Wellington on August 31, to consider the tenth annual report and statement of accounts of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, and to elect two producers \ representatives on the board, for which the following have been nominated: —James Begg, Dunedin (sitting member): James Carr, Methven; T. A. Duncan, Hunterville (sitting member).
