“PRINCESS ZARA”

TECHNICAL COLLEGE OPERETTA. A special feature of the beautiful f rocking of tho Technical College Operetta, “Princess Zara,” will be the .magnificent coronation robes air.] insignia kindly lent for the occasion by John Court’s Ltd., Auckland. Some of the frocks are to be on view in the D.I.C. windows. The period is Old English and all the frocks and wigs have been made on the premises under tho direction of the domestic science teachers. The sharply contrasting scenes of this operetta, unfold delightfully, and present a series of satisfying pictures, stately courtiers, dainty fairies, and demoniacal witches. The ballets will include a minuet done in true old-world fashion eccentric dances by Grcwsoni and her spectral band, and a dazzling ballet of shimmering butterfly fairies, all of a most ambitions scale. The Operetta will be staged at the Opera House on Tuesday and W'ednesdayi August 16 and 17.
