THE GROUPING SYSTEM [Per ' j*ress Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, June 17. The grouping system of conducting art unions is to be continued, according to a statement made by the Minister of Internal Affairs this morning. Air Hamilton said it was the intention to continue art unions under the restricted conditions already announced. The grouping would be continued, the share given to any particular organisation in the art union depending on the merits of its claims. Of course, all applicants wore anxious to receive large sums of money, but then who was not? “Any organisation nowadays receiving, say £lOOO could account itself very fortunate.”
