RUGBY FOOTBALL i On Wednesday evening a meeting of the football club committee was held but owing to the poor attendance no business could be put through. To-day, Waitotara plays Up-river on the local ground. 'The local players are very fit and the overdue win should eventuate to-day. The team will be chosen from the following:— J. Titiku, P. Soloman. The committee, has shown commendable enterprise in engaging professional mnrie for the dance, so that young and < / are togdher looking forward to this SHARP EARTHQUAKE Thursday morning local residents were awakened by a sharp earthquake. It was not, however, of sufficient severity to cause any damage.
