NEWFOUNDLAND ELECTIONS TWO MEMBERS RETURNED ST. JOHN’S (Newfoundland), June 14. The overnight returns turned the defeat of Sir R. Squires into almost a complete rout. Lady Helena Squires, wife of the Premier, was defeated in Twillingate. Returns give the state of the parties as: Opposition 21 Government 2 Independent 1 Unreported 3 Total 27
