BRITISH SOMALILAND
COMMISSIONER APPOINTED [ British Official Wireless. ] Received June 15, 5.15 p.m, RUGBY, June 14. The King has approved of the officer appointed to succeed Sir Harold Kittermaster in the administration of the British {Somaliland Protectorate, being designated Commissioner and Com-mander-in-Chief of the Protectorate. The King also has approved the appointment to this post of Major A. S. Lawrence, secretary to the Government of British Somaliland, who will assume the Commissionership on June 18.
