j PUBLIC NOTICES. RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL JV’OTICE is hereby given that t subjoined resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on the 2nd. June, 1932, and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the said Council to be held at Marton in the County Council Chambers at 10 a.m. on the sth. July, 1932, viz: “That pursuant to the powers contained in the Rating A<ct, 1925, and Subsection (2) of Section 171 of the Counties Act, 1920, and with the authority of the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Rangitikei County Council hereby, by Special Order, makes and levies on a uniform scale, a Separate Rate of }ne-third of a penny (l-3d) in the ;»ound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property within the Wangaehu Valley Drainage District of the County of Rangitikei to provide for the cost of the maintenance of drainage works constructed by the Council in and for the benefit, of the said district, and that such Separate Rate shall be for the period of one year commencing on the Ist. April. 1932, and ending on the 31st. March, 1933, and to become payable in one sum on the Ist. day of September, 1932, at the office of the said Council at Marton.” The Valuation Roll and the Rate Book for the period named are now open to public inspection during office hours at. the said office at Marton.
