TO HELP UNEMPLOYED WOMEN.—Meals are now being served for unemployed women and girls in the old Technical College buildings, Wellington, where the Unemployed Relief Committee of which the Mayoress, Mrs. T. C. A. Hislop, is chairman, has fitted up a kitchen and dining rooms. One hot meal and morning and afternoon tea are provided each day, and the average daily catered for is between 3() and 40. The photographs show the kitehen, with workers prepa ring a meal, the dining room, and the lounge.
