THE FEILDING SALE. Associated Live Stock Auctioneers, Ltd., report having a medium entry of fat lambs, a heavy yarding of fat, ewes, with just a few pens of fat wethers. Fat lambs were slightly easier than last week, as also were fat ewes. Fat wethers sold up to recent values. The fat ewe market was very slack at the beginning of the sale but. improved a lot. towards the end, although recent values were not Quite maintained, and 'his was especially noticeable on heavy prime ewes. Mo had a very heavy carding of ewes r.w.r. Only ewes in u-ood condition were sought after and (ho low-conditioned ewes were not wanted.
Fat Cattle. —There was only a small entry in this section and values were nu a par with recent sales.
Dairy Cattle—A small yarding in this section and we also have to reDort no alteration in values on last week. Weaner Jersey Heifers. —The enquiry for these was not so brisk as last week, owing no doubt to the extra ■•old snap having an effect on. the feed.
Store Cattle. —A fair entry -was yarded in this section, which consisted chiefly of yearling and two-year runbred cattle of mixed sex. Prices were as under: Fat lambs, 9s 7d, 10s. Jos id, 10s 3d, 10s 6d, 10s 9d, 10s lOd, Ils 3d, Ur sd. Uh 6<l, Us Bd, 12s, 12s 6d, 13s, .13s 6d, 14s 2d to 14s !)d; fat ewes, 6s, 6s 3d, 6s 6d, 7s Id, 7s 6d, 7s Ud, Bs, 8s Id, 8s 3d, 8s 6d, 8s Bd, 9s, 9s 4d, 10s to 11s; fat wethers, Ils 6d, 12s, 13s Id to 13s 4d; fat 2tooth black faces, Us lOd, 12s 6d, 13s 8d; maiden ewes, 10s to 14s; owes r.w. rams: Mixed aged ewes r.w. Romney, to 8s 7d; ditto r.w. S.D., to 8s 3d; 4tooth ewes r.w. S.D., Us 2d, Us 4d; 6-tooth 4 and 5-year ewes, r.w. S.D., 9s, 9s Id to 10s. Lambs: Ewe lambs, medium quality, to 8s 8d; wether lambs, 7s Id, 7s 9d, 7s 10s to Bs. Empty ewes, according to condition, Is sd, 2s 2s Gd, 3s 4d, 4s 3d, 4s 6d.
Fat Cattle.—Cows and heifers, £2 to £2 2s; vealers, 20s to 30s; empty sta-tion-bred cows, 12s 6d to 15s; 3-year steers, £2 7s to £2 13s; 18-months steers, 20s to £2; empty P.A. cows, 255. Dairy heifers, springing, £3, £3 ss, £3 10s, £3 12s 6d; dairy cows, springing, £3 15s, £4„ £4 17s 6d to £7 ss; weaner Jersey heifer ~ 20s to £2.
