PROPOSED SHIPMENT LONDON, May 8. “A few thousand pounds goes bog glug as long as Australia keeps idle bullion,” was the comment of a load ing city man upon Mr. Bruce’s proposal to ship the gold rcs’- sc abroad. “Australia cannot any longer afford such a luxury,” he said. “The shipment will bring Australia in line with England. Tho legislation can on longer bo regarded as revolutionary. “The whole world is becoming mildly inflationary, with the approval of bankers and loading economists.”
