ARMAMENT INEQUALITY DR. BRUENING’S STATEMENT BERLIN, May 11. A solemn warning to the world that Germany will not submit to the present unequalitv in armaments was uttered by Dr. Bruening to an attentive Reichstag. He declared that although Germany was almost completely disarmed, the rest of Europe was increasing armaments far beyond the pre-war level. Germany did not desire armaments to «uch an extent, hut merely wante<; equality.
