PRESENTED AT AUCKLAND ITS NATURE OBVIOUS [ Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 12. The National Bank of New Zealand advises that a forged £1 note of the National Bank of New Zealand, No. 430,282, purporting to be signed by Geo. Barr and counter-signed by E. Johnstone, has been presented for payment at Auckland, The note has a well washed appearance, and the printing is bad, but it is on good paper. It is an obvious forgery.
