I Tbe Governor-General has been comi manded by the King to communicate to I the people of New Zealand on the oc- . easion of Anzac Day the following message from His Majesty: i “On this solemn anniversary the thoughts of the Queen and myself are with my people of New Zealand in the proud remembrance of those who laid down their lives at Gallipoli. —George R. 1.” His Excellency has sent the following reply to His Majesty:— “Your Majesty’s gracious message has been ccmmur.icatcd to the people of this Dominion, who appreciate most deeply knowledge that the thoughts of Your Majesty and the Queen are w'th them on this day of hallowed memories.—Bledisloe. ”
