REMARQUE’S MONEY
BANK ACCOUNT SEIZED. PARIS, April 5. A Berlin message states that the Government has seized the £lOOO bank account of Erich Remarque, author of ‘‘AH Quiet on the Western Front,’’ pending an investigation into a charge that he has transferred his consider able fortune abroad in defiance of the emergency decree.
